We’ve seen some amusing videos over the years here at Autoblog, many of which have taken the form of clever advertisements. This latest one comes from French automaker Citroën, and as far as humorous ads go, this is quickly becoming one of our favorites.

In the video after the jump, Citroën humorously imagines what it must be like for someone driving a bare-bones car while wishing he was driving something newer with all the bells and whistles. You know, stuff like power windows, sat-nav, a stereo, keyless entry… all the things we’d take for granted on a new car. Click past the jump to watch, and trust us, it’ll put a smile on your face.

Report: Detroit’s RoboCop statue now fully funded

Despite a lack of local political support, Detroit’s citizens are a big step closer to getting a RoboCop statue. According to Autoblog sister site City’s Best, Motown’s RoboCop statue is now fully funded thanks to a massive $25,000 donation from a mom-and-pop organization by the name of Omni Consumer Products. The company sells movie products that are brought off of the silver screen and straight to life, and it borrows its name from the evil corporation in the RoboCop world. How’s that for fitting?

The OCP donation officially put the statue’s fund into the green, which means that work should kick off on the project sometime soon. The despite what seems to be a massive tide of support, the statue isn’t without its detractors, though.

Detroit Mayor Dave Bing has made it clear that he’s against the idea of erecting a tribute to the movie icon, and previous efforts to do the same have ultimately petered out. But with someone now ready to foot the bill for the statue, it seems more likely than ever that the post-apocalyptic law enforcement figure will soon be a new city landmark.

Pagani Zonda HH fully revealed

The latest special edition Zonda to come from Pagani is set to be delivered to one ludicrously wealthy American later this year, but before the official wraps come off, a sneak peek of the Zonda HH has arrived online.

There’s still no word on who the one-off convertible is being built for, but the proud poppa has detailed his commissioned creation over at TeamSpeed and, as reported previously, it’s a keen amalgamation of the Zonda F and Cinque.

The HH starts with the Zonda’s carbon-titanium tub, and from there the owner has picked the best bits from the Pagani parts bin. Carbon ceramic brakes hide behind center-locking wheels, while the Cinque’s 680-horsepower AMG-sourced V12 resides out back, with spent hydrocarbons shuttled out a titanium exhaust system and sending power to a proper manual gearbox.

While the Monterey Blue exterior and yellow accenting is a go, the design is still be fleshed out and the man behind the HH hopes to have it in his possession by year’s end, complete with the F’s front clip but minus the massive rear-mounted air intake. In the mystery buyer’s own words, “that was a little much.”
