The lunatics in John Hennessey’s Texas hoon asylum have run amok yet again, this time bolting a supercharger to a Hemi-packing four-door Ram 1500. The result is a 500-hp mulch hauler that will get you and your whole weekend DIY crew to Lowe’s and back faster than a leaky water heater can flood your basement.

The power boost comes courtesy of the Hennessey HPE 500 upgrade package, which relies on a TVS2300 blower to open the 5.7-liter Hemi’s lungs just a little wider. The standard kit also includes a revised intake, new fuel injectors, a cat-back exhaust and revised engine management. The resulting 505 horses can be hitched to any 2009-and-up Ram 1500 Hemi.

Options include a full long-tube header exhaust, high-flow cats, a premium wheel and tire package, and your choice of a lowered or raised suspension. Whether you go for the wheel/tire upgrade is up to you, but with all that power under your right foot, it seems like a fine idea. Click past the jump to see the Hennessey HPE 500 Ram 1500 in action on the street and on the dyno.

Fox Marketing supercharges the Lexus CT 200h [w/video]

Fox Marketing has given Lexus’ entry-level hybrid some much-needed teeth, adding an Eaton supercharger to the 2011 CT 200h. The huffer forces air through a Climax Racing intake manifold, helping the CT’s 1.8-liter four pot crank out 300 high-voltage ponies.

Fox also says it beefed up the car’s batteries, but details on what exactly the company did are nil. The added power means the CT 200h has to work a little harder to stay pointed in the right direction, which Fox addressed with a full-on custom suspension and enormous Baer brakes. The 13-inch Baers sit behind a set of 20-inch wheels sporting a huge offset and healthy 225/30-series meats up front and 255/30s at the back.

You’d think that a 300-horsepower hybrid would make an excellent sleeper, but that’s just not Fox Marketing’s style. Instead, it cloaked the little Lexus in metallic burnt orange paint, and draped it in a wide body kit, featuring huge three-inch fender flares. Inside, there’s a set of Yonaka racing seats complemented with LED Lexus logos on the door panels. Check out a video clip of the car after the jump.

Novitec Tridente supercharges the Maserati Quattroporte

Used to be – not so long ago, even – that if you wanted something exotic and sporty with four doors, your choices were largely limited to the Maserati Quattroporte. Maybe the Bentley Continental Flying Spur, if your budget and tastes veered more towards the statesmanly. But these days, buyers have more choices in the form of the Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide and even the Jaguar XJ Supercharged. And while Maserati reportedly has a pair of new QPs in the works, for those still enamored with the current model but hoping for a little extra kick, Novitec Tridente has something in store for you.

Novitec who, you ask? The Dutch tuning firm massages all manner of Italian automobiles – like the Alfa 159 and Fiat 500, for example – under its unadorned name, but may be more familiar to exotic car aficionados under the Novitec Rosso label, the division that tunes Ferrari models. A couple of years ago, the company launched a unit dedicated to tuning Maseratis, and these are its latest releases.

The upgrade package can be fitted to either the Quattroporte S or the top-of-the-line Quattroporte GT S, bolting a supercharger, intercooler, new intake manifold and fuel injectors and a remapped ECU to the 4.7-liter V8 to boost output up to 590 horsepower, a stout 160 and 150-horse boost over stock, respectively. A new, electronically adjustable sport suspension is also fitted with 21-inch modular wheels and Pirelli P Zero rubber, along with some discreet aero bits and a variety of interior upgrade options. The result? Try 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds and a 183 mph top tend. Details in the press release after the jump and photos in the high-res image gallery below.
